This weekend my friend Katie and I decided to do culture and visited the Serpentine Pavilion, this year designed by Selgascano. We played for a bit, marvelled at it’s shiny insides and took some polaroids of us looking baffled then headed off to Sticks & Sushi for some chow. It’s really cool and colourful and we expect its great lit up at night.

Had my finest on for Easter Sunday last weekend.
I got this Thomas Mason J.Crew shirt for my birthday – kudos to mother for picking up hints. I’m a massive J.crew nerd so their shirts are some of my staple wardrobe pieces.

Coffee in Hoxton
I’ve finally found a place in London that sells my beloved cortado. The Fabrique bakery in Hoxton born out of Stockholm, is now bringing a bit of that Scandi cool to London. I’m so happy to have found this little place under the arches of Hoxton train station, where the five tables sit in a white tiled heaven, and if you are lucky enough to snag one, you can watch the bakers doing their thing while eating one of their kick ass cinnamon buns.

Ciao from my Italian getaway to Puglia, feat. the cities of Lecce, Otranto and Gallipoli! Along with some serious heat, we also encountered some seriously angry thunderstorms, bringing down the ‘holiday’ (cc. Madonna circa 1983) morale a little at times but never defeating it entirely. And now, the summer is officially over. Cue weep.
P.s. The granny pants on the washing line might be my favourite picture of all time…

Token embarrassing burger eating photograph necessary @ the Crystal Palace Market we’ve just discovered.
I devoured the best blue cheese burger (#eatclean) ergo satisfied eyes. The interiors are cool and stylish and the food is great. With other ‘markets’ yet to follow in Fulham and beyond, you can see why their business will flourish. With all their freshly and locally sources food, its making Crystal Palace a number one food destination for people all over London.
p.s. I’m going back for brunch soon. It’s a good job this place is only 10 minutes from my home (LUCKY ME!)
This additional market/fishmongers is just next door to the restaurant as well.
A great place to get fresh fish (= I was also sizing up lots of amazing looking fish dishes on the menu, naturally) and lots of chutneys, jams and fruit and vegetables. Get yo ass down there!

Above and below: Parterre
Christianshavn is a canal-heavy area of Copenhagen which blends a seafaring Dutch vibe with that distinct sense of Danish modernism.
We headed there in the hope of some up-close apartment snooping ops and of locating Parterre (pictured above), a French-inspired cafe which we’d stumbled across on Instagram.
LOL of the day came a little later, when we stumbled across a group of eager Segwayers (sadly not pictured) outside the Black Diamond library – a bold method of sightseeing, and weirdly mesmerising to look at.
Find Parterre on Instagram here (no known website as of yet).

The coolest restaurant in the already-super-cool Meatpacking District, Paté Paté. Still lots of sister establishments to explore…
