I was tipped off by an artist friend about the Richard Serra exhibition at The Gagosian Gallery on Britannia Street. Now it’s my turn to tip ya’ll off: the exhibition ends on the 4th of March, so get yourselves down there PDQ (that’s Pretty Darned Quick).

I also took my new ‘do into the outside world for the first time.

I visited the Saatchi gallery on Friday to see their new Pop Art exhibit. It included works by artists such as Jeff Koons, Ai Weiwei, Tom Sachs and so many others. It wasn’t what you would expect from the a standard pop art exhibit – yes, think colourful and think graphic – but this exhibit brings together works by artists from China, the Former Soviet Union, Taiwan, the UK and the USA in a conversation about differing ideologies. It offers up a very cool mix of interesting works, with the sculpture (first image) by Chinese artist He An being my absolute favourite.

Ironically, I went off afterwards and got a McDonald’s.

Perused Tracey Emin’s The Last Great Adventure Is You’ exhibit yesterday that is currently showing at the White Cube, Bermondsey. I enjoyed her bronze sculptures and neon signage in particular.
