On Saturday I went for breakfast at The Magazine Restaurant at the Serpentine Sackler Gallery in Hyde Park. Designed by Zaha Hadid in what they call ‘a synthesis of old and new,’ it was quite incredibly crafted, with cool, spaceship-like architecture.
We went early on Saturday, as per my father’s request, so we enjoyed almost-private dining until about 10am, when it started hotting up for breakfast. The food was lovely, and if you are into design, I really recommend it as an interesting eating spot to visit at the weekend – especially with the gallery right next door.

Sunday’s = Home made granola bars and coffee
Toast 2 cups of rolled oats and 1/2 a cup of chopped almonds in the oven until just going golden.
Meanwhile put 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/3 cup of honey or agave nectar in a pan and heat until melted together. Leave to cool.
Roughly chop up half a cup each of sour cherries, cranberries. I also add a 1/4 cup each of pumpkin seeds and chopped walnuts and dried apricot.
Combine all of these ingredients together – then add 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips – put in a non stick tin and press down.
Cook in a 140 oven for about 10-15 minutes until just golden brown.

Last night I went out for my friends birthday to Night Tales in East London. It was a great night, with insanely good burgers from Patty and Bun, DJ and whisky bar, but its Saturday morning so now I’m going to relax with the new Kinfolk magazine. One of my favourites.

Perused Tracey Emin’s ‘The Last Great Adventure Is You’ exhibit yesterday that is currently showing at the White Cube, Bermondsey. I enjoyed her bronze sculptures and neon signage in particular.

Paris Fashion Week
Here are three of my favourite looks from the Chloé SS15 presentation at Paris fashion week. Chloé always manages to make clothes look so effortlessly feminine whilst retaining that tomboy edge. Whats more, these are clothes that one can actually envisage wearing, and that is why it will remain one of my firm favourites.
