Unfortunately its not yet socially acceptable to wear slippers to work, but when it finally does happen, I’ll be there in these bad boys. These Ugg fluff clogs are honestly the cosiest thing I’ve ever encountered.

I’ve been dying to go to Spring Restaurant at Somerset House for some time now and I finally went for my 23rd birthday last week. It was the most beautiful birthday setting. The interiors made me swoon, particularly the porcelain wall installation by artist Valeria Nascimento.
It was also a welcome chance to dress up – accessorised with my new scarf from & Other Stories that I’m obsessed with. Wearing H & M top, & Other Stories scarf and Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in Hepburn Honey.
I have to mention that the food was delicious too – I ate far too much, as per.
I’m older but definitely not wiser.

The kind of breakfasts that dreams are made of, well in my opinion anyway.
Lucky Charms for the win, every time.

Coffee in Hoxton
I’ve finally found a place in London that sells my beloved cortado. The Fabrique bakery in Hoxton born out of Stockholm, is now bringing a bit of that Scandi cool to London. I’m so happy to have found this little place under the arches of Hoxton train station, where the five tables sit in a white tiled heaven, and if you are lucky enough to snag one, you can watch the bakers doing their thing while eating one of their kick ass cinnamon buns.

The standard flower shot, only because of how proud I am of my latest arrangement after visiting New Covent Garden Flower Market on Saturday morning.
It’s my favourite yet.

I visited the Saatchi gallery on Friday to see their new Pop Art exhibit. It included works by artists such as Jeff Koons, Ai Weiwei, Tom Sachs and so many others. It wasn’t what you would expect from the a standard pop art exhibit – yes, think colourful and think graphic – but this exhibit brings together works by artists from China, the Former Soviet Union, Taiwan, the UK and the USA in a conversation about differing ideologies. It offers up a very cool mix of interesting works, with the sculpture (first image) by Chinese artist He An being my absolute favourite.
Ironically, I went off afterwards and got a McDonald’s.

Sunday’s = Home made granola bars and coffee
Toast 2 cups of rolled oats and 1/2 a cup of chopped almonds in the oven until just going golden.
Meanwhile put 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/3 cup of honey or agave nectar in a pan and heat until melted together. Leave to cool.
Roughly chop up half a cup each of sour cherries, cranberries. I also add a 1/4 cup each of pumpkin seeds and chopped walnuts and dried apricot.
Combine all of these ingredients together – then add 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips – put in a non stick tin and press down.
Cook in a 140 oven for about 10-15 minutes until just golden brown.
Plate, mug and tray from Skandium.
