“A celebration of methods, materials and makers”

Blazer from & Other Stories, Slides from Henry Kole, Hat from Asos

Following the September 2016 runway show, for one week, Burberry transformed a former Foyle’s bookstore into a cafe and showroom to celebrate the launch of their new collection. The London show venue was opened to the public and made home to a different group of Britain’s finest makers each day, who could be seen practicing their craft. These ranged from sculpting and embroidery to caligraphy and miniature portraiture. Not only this, but there was the chance to see the collection up close.

We loved how interactive Makers House was, and it was so inspiring to see how the collection was brought to life. Even better was the joy of finishing off the experience with a coffee and some cake from the beautiful Thomas’s cafe cake table – and a trip into the studio photobooth before the line got too long!

Watch the Burberry Show on here via youtube which was hosted at Makers House – the music is out of this world.

Easter Bow

Had my finest on for Easter Sunday last weekend.

I got this Thomas Mason J.Crew shirt for my birthday – kudos to mother for picking up hints. I’m a massive J.crew nerd so their shirts are some of my staple wardrobe pieces.

Love this shoot of Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss in Vogue, photographed by Mikael Jansson, 2015.

The photographs make me want to go USA road trippin’ big time.

Filippa K

Filippa k

Completely transfixed by the Filippa K Spring Summer 2015 campaign – so elegantly simple and classic but I love the modern shapes. It’s the Scandinavian brand I’m massively coveting at the moment. Some of their beautiful pieces are currently available at their pop up in Fenwick, where I grabbed this catalogue and made many a mental note. So much to learn from the Swedes.

All things Olsen

Being a Olsen twin diehard from a young age has obviously stuck with me. These are my favourite looks from Elizabeth and James and The Row, both designed and curated by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, the ultimate kick-ass sister combination in my eyes. Both ranges are classic and simple, The Row providing high fashion structured shapes, with Elizabeth and James adding a slightly younger angle on everyday, sophisticated chic. In a dream world, I’d take it all.
