Spent this morning with my sister enjoying the sunshine at Fields cafe on Clapham Common. Their ghetto omelette is killer, not to mention their slushies and Gen Mai cha soft serve with pickled cherries and rice – definitely photo worthy and weirdly delicious.

My sister and I managed to fit in a breakfast date last weekend at Tart London’s pop up in Queens Gate. Tart specialise in on-site cooking for fashion and film shoots and we were pretty pleased to snag a table before they close this weekend. We really enjoyed their food, especially the Indian scrambled eggs which were out of this world. We really hope they find a permanent spot so we can come a’brunchin.
Also really excited by possible book prospects – need that egg recipe.

The kind of breakfasts that dreams are made of, well in my opinion anyway.
Lucky Charms for the win, every time.

My breakfast this morning consisted of:
An apricot sourdough picked up at Fabrique Bakery yesterday morning,
A fitting flick through my copy of The Bread Exchange,
And some beautiful greenery from Grace & Thorne in an attempt to #greenupmygaff (when am I not?)
Pretty sweet Sunday.

Coffee in Hoxton
I’ve finally found a place in London that sells my beloved cortado. The Fabrique bakery in Hoxton born out of Stockholm, is now bringing a bit of that Scandi cool to London. I’m so happy to have found this little place under the arches of Hoxton train station, where the five tables sit in a white tiled heaven, and if you are lucky enough to snag one, you can watch the bakers doing their thing while eating one of their kick ass cinnamon buns.

Pancake day = sugar overload this year.
This pancake day I went for Donna Hay’s Buttermilk pancakes which were definitely a winner. Got a little over excited with the pancake toppings this year. Maple syrup, lemon & sugar, nutella and I also bought a jar of Cutter & Squidge sea salted caramel which is insane on pancakes (or just on its own to be perfectly honest). Happy pancake flipping.

Heart shaped toast & some Daylesford juice for Valentine’s Day.
What more could a girl want?

On Saturday I went for breakfast at The Magazine Restaurant at the Serpentine Sackler Gallery in Hyde Park. Designed by Zaha Hadid in what they call ‘a synthesis of old and new,’ it was quite incredibly crafted, with cool, spaceship-like architecture.
We went early on Saturday, as per my father’s request, so we enjoyed almost-private dining until about 10am, when it started hotting up for breakfast. The food was lovely, and if you are into design, I really recommend it as an interesting eating spot to visit at the weekend – especially with the gallery right next door.

This mornings breakfast was accompanied by the latest issue of Elin Kling’s Styleby magazine that I picked up whilst in Stockholm this weekend as well as some of the postcards I bought from the Horst exhibit at the V&A yesterday.

Yogurt, granola and fruit in my favourite Brickett Davda bowl.
