Saturday at Fabrique Bakery

Coffee in Hoxton  I’ve finally found a place in London that sells my beloved cortado. The Fabrique bakery in Hoxton born out of Stockholm, is now bringing a bit of that Scandi cool to London. I’m so happy to have found this little place under the arches of Hoxton train station, where the five tables sit in a white tiled heaven, and if you are lucky…

SKY GARDEN

London Vertigo inducing outings this weekend at the Sky Garden at 20 Fenchurch Street, London. I visited the Sky Bar on Saturday on an exploratory mission and it definitely didn’t disappoint. It offers up incredible panoramic views of London, with its modern structure complimented by a lush indoor garden. In addition to the Sky Bar there are two restaurants, but it’s free to visit the…

TS & KK IN VOGUE

Editorial  Love this shoot of Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss in Vogue, photographed by Mikael Jansson, 2015. The photographs make me want to go USA road trippin’ big time. Photograph from Vogue.com – see them all here.

Filippa K

Fashion Completely transfixed by the Filippa K Spring Summer 2015 campaign – so elegantly simple and classic but I love the modern shapes. It’s the Scandinavian brand I’m massively coveting at the moment. Some of their beautiful pieces are currently available at their pop up in Fenwick, where I grabbed this catalogue and made many a mental note. So much to learn from the Swedes.

NEUTRALS

I’m a huge Elin Kling fan and managed to bag this cardigan from Toteme in their winter sale. Toteme Aspen Cardigan, Illesteva sunglasses, & Other Stories vest (old), Zara faux leather trousers.

POP ART @ THE SAATCHI

Art I visited the Saatchi gallery on Friday to see their new Pop Art exhibit. It included works by artists such as Jeff Koons, Ai Weiwei, Tom Sachs and so many others. It wasn’t what you would expect from the a standard pop art exhibit – yes, think colourful and think graphic – but this exhibit brings together works by artists from China, the Former Soviet…

Mama Lan

Lunch Mama Lan, Brixton Village  On Sunday, my sister and I went into Brixton for lunch. We went on a quest for dumplings – naturally Mama Lan is the place to go,  where you can watch mama Lan herself in the back making hand made dumplings right before you. Its like a little slice of Beijing in South London and in our book Mama Lan is…
