After a morning spent enjoying the Revival, watching races, discovering the awesome vintage Tesco and heading in the direction of the Veuve tent we left for lunch at the Goodwood Kennels. All dressed up in appropriate vintage (sort of) attire, we were greeted with an amazing Sunday roast and watched the lancaster bombers fly overhead. All in all, a pretty transportive day. If you aren’t really into vintage cars (ladies I hear ya – warning there is lots of revving – and men staring at cars revving), theres plenty to eat and drink, which is fine by me. No SRSLY I quite like pretty cars – that silver AC Cobra had my name all over it.
That gin and tonic jelly with meringue was dreamy – the prettiest dessert I’ve ever laid eyes on!
